In order to analyze your financial situation and make a recommendation we ask that you provide us with as much of the information listed below as possible.  If you are unsure of, or missing items listed below, don't let that stop you,  contact us and we will work with the information you do have.  Our contact information is conveniently located at the "Contact Us" link on the left.

  • Employment information, where do you work and your salary.
  • Other sources of income, such as from rent or investments.
  • List of assets, such as cars, homes, etc.
  • List of any investments, such as, rental property, stocks, etc.
  • List of monthly expenses, such as rent, utilities, groceries, gas, etc.
  • List of Creditors and approximately what is owed to each.
  • Any information regarding pending lawsuits or foreclosures


If Bankruptcy is right for you, below is a list of documents we will need to prepare your case.  You do not need to bring any of these to your initial consultation with us, however, Income Tax Returns and recent paystubs are always helpful.

  • Income Tax Return for the last three years.
  • Bank Statements for all bank accounts for the last 3 months.
  • Pay stubs for the last 2 months.
  • Registration or title to vehicles you own: car, motorcycle or boat.
  • All insurance policies for all vehicles you own.
  • Registration and lease agreement for any vehicle you lease: car, boat
  • All insurance policies for all vehicles you lease.
  • Copy of the deed to your home (available online from Clerk of Courts)
  • Copy of Homeowner’s insurance
  • Copy of latest mortgage statement (for all mortgages, first, second, etc)
  • Copy of your rental or lease agreement for your home
  • Any documents or information regarding any pending lawsuit or foreclosure
  • Copy of your Driver's License or other photo ID
  • Copy of your Social Security Card

This is basic list of documents that will be needed to prepare and file your bankruptcy.  Not all of the items listed above will apply to your particular case and in most cases, additional documents may be needed.
